"Service to Humanity"
The sisters of Kappa Gamma Delta are the most diverse and well-rounded group of girls on the
UC Davis campus. Aspiring to pursue many different careers in the health field (from MD, to
nursing, to veterinary medicine, etc., etc.), we truly know how to study hard and earn the good
grades. KGD girls study together more often than not, not only enriching our academic
experience together, but also providing helpful tips to younger girls who are taking the same
classes as we did. We know how hard and competitive classes like organic chemistry are. We are
here to cheer you on, help you succeed, and celebrate your successes.

For those days when life is not going our way, KGD girls are ALWAYS there to provide
sisterly love and support for our sisters (from college and beyond). Girls often meet their
best lifetime friends while here in KGD. Furthermore, our little sis/big sis program helps
ease the transition that one makes from pledge to active in the sorority.

Staying true to our motto, "Service to Humanity", we participate in a number of different
service projects, including Project Linus, Turkey Trot, Davis Stampede, Davis Community
known in the community as an organization passionate about serving others.

Social Support
KGD also provides an amazing social support system. From movie nights, to ice cream socials,
to banquet, to Turkey Dinner, KGD provides a plethora of social activities to keep our girls
busy when they are not studying. The social aspect of our sorority is very important to us, as
we know that the best future health care professionals will know how to get along with others
and communicate effectively, not just think critically. We also hold socials with our brother
pre-medical fraternity, Sigma Mu Delta.
