1. Which pledge class did you cross with?
Alpha Mus
2. What is your major/minor?
Exercise Biology w/ minor in Nutrition
3. What are your future career plans?
Orthopedics or Sports Medicine
4. Why did you join KGD?
I joined KGD primarily to expand my network to a group of
girls who have the same goals as I do. Things that are hard are always easier when you have a core
group of girls working together trying to accomplish similar goals.
5. How has KGD changed your life?
Joining KGD has opened up many windows for me. I've become more involved with community by
volunteering at local events. Also, networking with the girls has made me more aware of events
and programs geared towards the pre-medical/pre-health path. Most of all, I'm surrounded by a
group of close knit girls who have the same aspirations as I do.
6. What is your favorite part of KGD?
My favorite part of KGD is being able to spend time with my sisters whether it may be during
social or community service based events. Obviously the journey to med school is no easy one, and
having the support system that these girls provide make it memorable and enjoyable.
7.What are your interests?
I love running and playing sports, especially basketball. Aside from that, I love my music &
church, but nothing beats spending time with family and friends.
8. What type of extracurriculars are you involved with?
I currently have an internship at the UCDMC in the Orthopedics department and am looking into
clinic. Aside from that, I'm involved with Intramurals and the Filipino Association for Health
Careers Club.
