1. Which pledge class did you cross with?
Alpha Iota

2. What is your major/minor?
Genetics

3. What are your future career plans?
I plan on doing a masters program and then go to medical school.

4. Why did you join KGD?
I joined KGD the Fall of my junior year. I was in a tough spot in my life and I didn't have a place to
go where people knew what I was going through. When I met the sisters of Kappa Gamma Delta I
knew that I had found that place. I was looking for understanding, support and love and I definitely
received that from my sisters.

5. How has KGD changed your life?
I used to be very quiet and shy. I swam in high school and I enjoyed the solidarity of the sport.
Although I am still rather quiet, I am no longer afraid to jump in and be a part of all the activities. I
now have a support system and friends that will always be there. I am a stronger, more confidant
version of my old self.

6. What is your favorite part of KGD?
I love the sisterhood and the close friends I have made. The bonds I have made with my sisters are
those that will last even after my days as an active member have gone.

7.What are your interests?
I am a very crafty person. I love to quilt and crochet and I especially love teaching others how to
crochet. I enjoy spending time with my husband at the dog park with our golden retriever.

8. What type of extracurriculars are you involved with?
I am currently working in a plant biology lab on campus doing experiments with spinach and
E.coli. I have done internships and worked in a microbiology lab in the past. Right now I am
focusing on school, work, raising my puppy and fulfilling my duties as an officer and a sister in
Kappa Gamma Delta.
