1. Which pledge class did you cross with?
I crossed with the Alpha Mu's Fall quarter 2008
2. What is your major/minor?
I am a Biological Sciences major with
an emphasis in NPB and a minor in human development
3. What are your future career plans?
I hope to be a family nurse practitioner and
a certified registered nurse anesthetist.
4. Why did you join KGD?
I joined KGD because I was looking for a group of girls who
had similar aspirations and a similar work ethic as me but
still knew how to have fun. I wanted to get more involved on
campus and meet new people and KGD was the perfect fit for
me.
5.How has KGD changed your life?
In addition to meeting my best friends for life, KGD has taught me a lot about myself that I did not
know. The pledging process showed me that I have the capability to do anything I want as long as I
dont give up and that nothing in life is too big to handle. KGD has opened my eyes to all the
possibilites there are for me and has brought out my best qualities.
6. What is your favorite part of KGD?
My favorite part of KGD has to be the sisterhood. I have had the privelage of meeting the most
amazing group of girls and many of them I will stay in touch with forever. I have become so close
with many of the girls and have met my best friends in KGD and some of my best times in life have
been shared with them. I love that even though I cant be close with every single in the sorority I
know that if I ever needed anything for any one of them they would be there for me regardless and I
would do the same for them in a heart beat.
7. What are your interests?
Medicine and the health field are my biggest interests but I also love volleyball, traveling the
world, reading, shopping, going to the movies, food, knitting, hanging out with my friends,
dancing, and spending time with family.
8. What type of extracurriculars are you involved with?
In addition to KGD I also have an on-campus job and an internship at the UCD medical center.
