1. Which pledge class did you cross with?
Alpha Iota
2. What is your major/minor?
Major: Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior
Minor: Medical-Veterinary Entomology
3. What are your future career plans?
Tropical Medicine
4. Why did you join KGD?
I transferred from San Francisco State University and thought that I should make my experience at
UCD more enjoyable by joining a sorority. There were so many Greek organizations to choose from,
but only one really stood out to me which was Kappa Gamma Delta. I thought KGD was the right
place for me because I thought this organization could help me academically and socially.
5. How has KGD changed your life?
KGD has changed my life tremendously. I have met some amazing friends that I know will be in my
life forever.
6. What is your favorite part of KGD?
My favorite part of KGD is pledging. Although pledge quarter was very time consuming, the whole
experience allowed me to become closer to my pledge sisters and helped me manage my time better.
7. What are your interests?
I love to spend my free time outdoors and being active. What I love the most is spending time with
my friends and family.
8. What type of extracurriculars are you involved with?
Other than being an active member in KGD, I have no extracurricular activities at this moment, I
have decided to take the quarter off to relax and figure out more about myself and my goals. I have,
however, volunteered and interned with: CPMC Emergency Room in San Francisco, UDMC
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Adventures in Science, and with the Santa Clara High School girl’s
basketball team. I have also been a member of various organizations that aim towards community
service.
